Here's the latest...
It's our monthly 8 a.m. organic food truck delivery. They're unavailable locally, so those who want them depend on this event. Careful planning is required to get the right stuff at the right time at an affordable price, especially now as food costs rise. Buying in bulk is really the secret to keeping organic food costs at about the same as similar (non-organic) local products. It's well worth the planning in my book since organic vegetables, grains, meats, etc.,. are produced without unhealthy additives. You can even get organic coffee beans grown in South America, Israel and elsewhere. The method grows worldwide. The pressure is on for more food producers to go through the long, tedious process of certifying as healthy, more tasty organics.
