Awesome!

Tonight - not a cloud in the sky, as we saw one shooting star after another pierce star-studded heavens.
They launched their performance right on time as scheduled and are expected to continue nightly for days.
However the peak time was tonight, August 12/13, so we drove out of town to a lakeside, away from distracting town lights.
Equipped with pillows we rested on blankets, watching quietly.
Not another soul was out there, so an audience of three including a nine year old, watched - not in the least distracted by the soft sounds of wilderness night-life accompanied by gently lapping lake water.
...All this in stark contrast to city clatter or July 4 fireworks.
If only such peace as found tonight could be harvested and packaged for year-round use.
