 SMOOTHIES WITH WILD RASPBERRIES !

if you can find some to pick fresh off the vine. go for it.
That I did today - perfect for adding to a Smoothie of yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, apples, bananas, orange & lemon juices, with splashes of vanilla and honey.
Yesterday, I blended the same concoction; so raspberries will give today's batch another delectable dimension.
The wild raspberries were a lucky find. They're few and far between since we've endured drought conditions, broken only with a little rain this week.
The other berries are frozen organics.
While this is fine, many have their own way of making Smoothies.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, according to Confucius -

"Things that are done, it is needless to speak about...things that are past, it is needless to blame." Chinese philosopher Confucius said it, many years ago.

 FREEDOM'S ABUSERS -

Freedom for the U.S. nearly was lost until George Washington staged one of the most dramatic hard-won, bitterly cold winter battles of the Revolutionary War.
Only a few exhausted, battle-worn soldiers - some without shoes - dressed in ragged remnants of uniforms, refused to give up.
They stayed with Washington as he led one of the last, defining battles against those who would deny them their freedom - the freedom Americans have to this day.
We have freedom to speak our minds, spreading our thoughts, politics, assent and dissent in more ways than ever before.
Cyberspace and Media provide opportunity for objectivity, or for distortion with self-serving spin and slander.
Some of those with clever, irresponsible voices seem to forget that freedom is based on a sense of personal responsibility in all the things we say and do.
Or, do they not care about the freedom so bravely won those many years ago?
